A feral cat colony will explode in population if left unchecked and the Peterborough area has no shortage of colonies.
Operation Catnip is a small grassroots volunteer group working to control the area’s feral cat population and divert kittens from the wild. Members humanely trap, spay or neuter, vaccinate and find homes for cats. They also release those unable to be domesticated back to their colonies.
