A wave of redistricting efforts has swept the country. Unlike other states that are being strong-armed into conducting mid-decade redistricting, the Ohio Constitution requires our leaders to redraw congressional maps this year. Our current congressional map fails to meet the basic standards of fairness and transparency. It was drawn entirely behind closed doors and adopted without any community input. The outcome speaks for itself: The map does not reflect Ohio voters.
