Manchester Memorial secured the NHIAA Division I East title, a first-round playoff bye and its best regular-season record since 1972 on Friday night at Chabot-McDonough Field.
The Crusaders got big plays in the run game from Jacob Schuff and a late defensive stop to earn a 28-21 victory over Exeter.
Schuff rushed for 207 yards and two touchdowns on 15 carries. The senior logged six runs of at least 10 yards, including a 61-yarder.
Ranked No. 2 in this week's Union Leader Power Poll, Memorial (8-1 overall, 7-1 NHIAA play) also scored on a 45-yard pass from Alex Sutherland to Jathyen Torres.
