Connecticut homes aren’t the only affluent suburban staples in demand now that Democratic Socialist Zohran Mamdani looks likely to win the election for New York City mayor .
Sources told Page Six this week that some schools in the wealthy burbs are seeing spikes in interest from families looking to flee town.
An insider in leafy Greenwich, Conn., told Page Six: “There was an open house at Greenwich Country Day School [last weekend], and they had so many people from the city they had to open another auditorium and simulcast it.”
The source chalked up the increased interest to “Mamdani flight.” The school didn’t get back to us.
