Deer hunters across Minnesota will take to the field next Saturday, Nov. 8, as the statewide firearms season opens.

The state's Department of Natural Resources has extensive resources on its website — including details on licenses, regulations, chronic wasting disease and other items new for 2025 — along with an interactive map for deer permit areas.
