CROOKS, SD (KELO) -- A Halloween night house fire in Crooks sent one person to the hospital.

Fire crews responded to the fire on East 5th Street at 7 p.m. Friday.

They found one person inside who was then transported to the hospital with what the Minnehaha County Sheriff's Office is calling potentially life-threatening injuries.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
