Mary Bonnet didn’t agree with the way Chrishell Stause reacted to former friend Emma Hernan‘s boyfriend Blake Davis on season 9 of Selling Sunset.

During an exclusive interview with Us Weekly, Mary, 45, explained why she found Chrishell’s clear disdain for Blake unfair to Emma, 33.

“In my opinion, I think as a friend if you have somebody going through something like that you need to be there for them and be the safe space,” Mary said about Emma’s complicated romance. “You don’t desert a friend in their time of need and you definitely don’t try to humiliate them by going public and telling all their secrets.”

Mary noted that Chrishell, 44, should have pulled Emma aside to voice her concerns. “That [public reaction] was uncalled for and very cruel,” Mary argued. “I asked her why because I
