Throughout the month of November, Central Bank of Boone County, Audrain County and Moberly will be collecting money for the Food Bank for Central and Northeast Missouri's VIP for Veterans Program.

"We've been raising money for Veterans programs each November for the past few years," said Ed Scavone, the Central Bank of Boone County's president and CEO.

Veteran Packs are monthly boxes that include nutritious food and personal care items, such as soups, fruits, vegetables, body wash, deodorant and more.

"As a veteran myself, I have a particular concern for my fellow soldiers, sailors and marines who struggle. I'm proud that we can do our small part to make an impact on their lives," Scavone said.
