FLINT -- Owosso junior Braden Reed is the kind of player you want on your football team.
Reed dedicated his time to becoming a starting quarterback for the Trojans and will earn his shot next season as a senior, but he took on the challenge of playing wideout for the first time in his career.
“He’s just so athletic that we had to get him on the field,” Owosso head coach Ron Tyner said. “When Braden was playing quarterback at our 7-on-7s, Liam (Patrick) was playing receiver. When Liam played quarterback, Braden would go to receiver. Each of them were our two best receivers. We knew we wanted our best quarterback and our best receiver on the field, but it was a matter of which one was going to lineup where.”
