HAMPTON, Va. — The Virginia State Police issued a senior alert on behalf of the Hampton Police Department Saturday morning for an 85-year-old man reported missing.
Melvin Lee William, described as 5'11" tall and weighing 130 pounds, was last seen at approximately 5:30 p.m. on Oct. 31 at his residence on Corbin Drive in Hampton. He has brown eyes, gray hair, and suffers from a cognitive impairment.
Authorities say his disappearance poses a credible threat to his health and safety.
William may be wearing a black shirt, black pants, a cream sweater, and black shoes. He could be driving a black 2017 Lexus ES350 with a Virginia license plate 2122W.
