In Auburn’s season opener against Baylor, the Tigers held a 24-17 lead with 43 seconds left in the third quarter.
Then an Auburn star was born.
Tulane transfer Rayshawn Pleasant, who had two kickoff return touchdowns with the Green Wave in 2024, ran back a kickoff for 98 yards to extend Auburn’s lead to 31-17.
Auburn would go on to defeat Baylor 38-24. After the game, Pleasant wanted War Eagle Nation to know that he had more to show throughout the season.
