Here we go with “the good old days?” Well, not exactly! But in the Interior Design venue, the good old days with those good old styles, trends and classic elements inform just about every aspect of “contemporary!”
As is true of almost any culture, society, community and philosophy, the contemporary-of-the-moment stands on its closest predecessor as it stretches and evolves into its own “unique” construct. In fact, a favorite observation about Interior design is how good design — from colors to styles– has a way of periodically cycling; coming back, as it were.
