Police are asking for information after a woman was found dead at Ferry Dock Hill in Sarnia early Friday.

Police were called around 6:30 a.m. to 125 Front St. N. to check the wellbeing of an unresponsive female, police said in a news release.

Police and Lambton EMS responded, and a 34-year-old female was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The woman, whose name cannot be released at this time, police said, was taken to London hospital for autopsy.
