Himachal Pradesh is set to receive a fresh spell of snowfall and rainfall on November 4 and 5, according to the State’s Meteorological Department.
A fresh Western Disturbance is likely to influence the western Himalayan region from the night of November 3, resulting in snowfall and rain in many parts of the state.
The higher hills, including Lahaul and Spiti, Kinnaur, Kullu, Kangra, and Chamba, are expected to witness light snowfall at isolated places, while the rest of the state will experience light rain.
During this period, minimum temperatures are expected to drop by 2°C to 5°C, and maximum temperatures by 3°C to 6°C, creating cold wave conditions in several areas.
Meanwhile, the weather remained mostly dry across the state, with most regions enjoying a bright sunny day.
