Tolton’s Kenadie May delivered one of the most clutch hits in Tolton softball history in the Class 4 State Championship Game. In the bottom of the seventh inning against Kearney with the game tied at 1-1, a hit by the senior went over the glove of a Bulldog into right field.
It brought home the run needed to give Tolton a 2-1 win over Kearney in Springfield. For the Trailblazers, it's the program’s second consecutive state title after defeating Belton a season ago. It’s the team’s third title in 13 seasons as a program.
