PEMBROKE — The race for the Pembroke Town Council sees six candidates for two spots in Tuesday’s election.

Incumbent Channing Jones is joined by Chad Deese, Matthew Locklear, Melissa Locklear, Larry McNeill and Mannie Perez. In addition to Jones’ seat, the seat that was held by Theresa Locklear before her death last year is also up for grabs.

Early voting runs through Saturday before Election Day on Tuesday
