Ihave a dilemma. My son will soon be gone and I will be left with the job of mowing the lawn. I would like to do more of the garden work but I have never been much into growing things. I have a “green thumb” neighbor who is willing to help me. I have considered just hiring a landscaper like most of my neighbors.

Are you successful in your work? Do you enjoy your work? Do you even enjoy some of the mundane tasks, because they lead to results that you like?

I have very similar feelings about gardening.

I enjoy even the lowest gardening job, which is removing weeds, because I like the order and beauty of a bed of flowers without weeds.

I’m sure your green thumb neighbor will be able to teach you a lot. If you don’t enjoy mowing your lawn, hiring a landscaper may be a good choice for you.
