WESTMINSTER, S.C. —

Pioneer Rural Water District is issuing a boil water advisory on Highway 24 from Fred Dobbins Road to Prater Gin Road.

In a statement Saturday, laboratory director Heather Bryant said:

Pioneer Rural Water District advises the residents of Fred Dobbins Road, Prater Gin Road and Indian Trail Road located in Anderson County, South Carolina to vigorously boil their water for at least one full minute prior to drinking or cooking.

Pioneer Rural Water District has isolated the water main break and is repairing the break located near or at your location. The water has been shut off to quickly repair the line break.

Any ice made from water which has not been boiled should not be used for drinking purposes.
