DAVIE COUNTY, N.C. — A Mocksville man faces multiple charges after deputies say he pulled a gun on two women in a McDonald's drive-thru line.
According to the Davie County Sheriff's Office, a woman calling from a McDonald's at 1440 Yadkinville Rd. said a man pointed a gun at her and her girlfriend.
The victim said an unknown car honked its horn while waiting in line at the drive-thru. She believes the suspect, 53-year-old Herbert Jefferson, may have thought it was her car that honked. Deputies say Jefferson then pointed a gun at her before leaving the restaurant.
Jefferson was found at his house in Mocksville, where deputies found a gun. Deputies say Jefferson admitted to being at the McDonald's and owning a gun, but he denied pointing it at anyone.
