Gold's Gym Southern California announced in an email to its members on Oct. 29 that it would officially be part of EōS Fitness.

The Southern California-born chain is not getting rid of all its locations, as the brand has locations all over the world. The franchisees in charge of Gold's Gym Southern California have sold all 23 of their locations to EōS Fitness, the LA Times reported .

The purchase will not interrupt current members of the nearly two dozen locations, EōS told Gold's Gym members in an email. EōS members with qualifying memberships will have access to the newly acquired Gold's Gym locations, while Gold's members will have access to the EōS gyms at a later date, the email read.
