ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) - The Roanoke Police Department (RPD) is investigating a shooting at a local gas station.

According to officers, on Thursday, October 30, at 9:04 p.m., RPD responded to the report of a shooting at a gas station located in the 800 block of Bridge Street Southwest.

Officers say when they arrived, they found an employee with non-life-threatening gunshot wounds, and he was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

Reportedly, a man wearing white pants, a gray hoodie, a blue face cover, and a yellow hard hat entered the store and demanded money before shooting the clerk and fleeing from the store.
