OKLAHOMA CITY (KFOR)— We are now seeing the moments an EMBARK bus driver allegedly ran over a man who later died from his injuries.
The driver told investigators he thought the man was drunk, so he refused to let him board.
Court documents say after the driver refused to let the man on, the man fell into the road, and was then run over by the bus, but the driver never called 911.
This happened earlier in October near Hefner and Western in NW Oklahoma City.
Police identified the driver as 26-year-old Cameron Cunningham.
According to court documents, Cunningham told investigators Steven Thomas was stumbling and appeared to be drunk, which is why he refused to let Thomas get on the bus.
He says Thomas had his hands on the bus when he started to drive away, causing him to fall under the
