BOARDMAN, Ohio — A man from Pennsylvania died in a crash involving two vehicles on Interstate 680 South in Boardman, according to WKBN.

The crash happened just before 6 p.m. near milepost 12, close to the Route 224 overpass.

OSHP reported that both vehicles were traveling in the left southbound lane when 39-year-old Alex Lowry of McKeesport, Pennsylvania, rear-ended a Nissan Rogue with his 2014 Dodge Charger.

Lowry’s vehicle veered off the left side of the road, hit a guardrail, then struck three concrete bridge supports before overturning. He was ejected from the vehicle and pronounced dead at the scene. OSHP confirmed he was not wearing a seatbelt.
