CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) - One person was hurt in a shooting early Saturday morning in north Charlotte, according to MEDIC.

MEDIC said the shooting happened around 3:40 a.m. on Penninger Circle.

The person was taken to a hospital to be treated for serious injuries, MEDIC said.

It’s unclear what led to the shooting or if any arrests have been made.
