COLUMBUS — In its past eight tries, Penn State has failed to beat rival Ohio State. It’s been even longer since the Nittany Lions beat the Buckeyes on the road at The Horshoe.
The circumstances certainly aren’t in Penn State’s favor this time around, either, with the Lions (3-4) led by interim head coach Terry Smith and quarterback Ethan Grunkemeyer making his second career start.
They’ll need their A-game against No. 1 Ohio State (7-0) as the game kicks off at noon on FOX.
