SPOKANE, Wash. — Lindy Marcusen is an accomplished athlete whose life changed forever after a crash forced the amputation of one of her legs.
Marcusen survived a Ford F-350 hitting her, losing her leg and sustaining a massive brain injury, along with many other injuries.
Instead of letting that stop her, she went on to represent Team USA in the Paralympic Games.
Now she's on a mission to empower others and to change the way we think about traveling with a disability. Marcusen is one of many teaming up with Ottobock to raise awareness of the barriers people with disabilities face when traveling and how people can come together to make travel accessible for everyone.
KREM 2's Tim Pham sat down with Marcusen to talk about her story in his latest Let's Talk segment.
