BANGOR, Maine (WABI) - The low pressure system that brought us rain and wind on Friday is now just northeast of our region. A high pressure system is situated over the Midwest. This setup is creating a pressure gradient over the state, which means windy conditions for Saturday. West winds will gusts between 35-45 mph, especially during the late morning and early afternoon hours. Winds will begin to subside Saturday evening. Otherwise, highs on Saturday will be slightly below average with partly cloudy skies. Much cooler temperatures are forecast for Saturday night. Many areas will have lows in the 20s.
