An 18-year old woman was killed and three other people were injured in a shooting in New Haven early Saturday.

Officers responded to gunfire in the area of Church Street and Center Street around 2:34 a.m. on Saturday, according to the New Haven Police Department .

Arriving officers located three gunshot victims that included a 21-year-old man and two 18-year-old women, police said. According to police, one of the 18-year-old women was pronounced dead. She has not been identified at this time. The two others were transported to an area hospital.

Shortly after, another 21-year-old man arrived at Yale New Haven Hospital in a private vehicle with a non-life-threatening gunshot wound, police said.
