: The 17th Upper Assam Chavang Kut, the grand harvest festival of the Kuki community, was celebrated with great pomp and gaiety at the Sahitya Sabha Hall, Dibrugarh, on Friday, drawing a large gathering and showcasing the community’s rich cultural heritage.

Held under the theme “Stronger Together: Honouring Our Past, Building Our Future,” the celebration reflected unity, gratitude, and cultural pride among the Chin-Kuki-Mizo groups residing across Upper Assam.
