A person was in custody Friday after a road rage shooting left a man hospitalized in Doral, officials said.

The shooting happened in the southbound lanes of 87th Avenue and Northwest 64th Street, according to the Miami-Dade Sheriff's Office.

Deputies found a man with an apparent gunshot wound. He was transported to HCA Florida Kendall in stable condition.

A subject was taken into custody.
