CARY, N.C. (WTVD) -- A Cary girl has earned national recognition for her writing talent.

Varsha Vivek, a student at TMSA Triangle Charter School, has had her work selected for publication in the Young Writer's Annual Showcase 2025 - Between the Lines. The prestigious anthology celebrates creative young authors from across the United States.

Varsha's short story, titled "Apples of Idunn," draws inspiration from Greek and Norse mythology. Finalists for the national contest will be announced later this year.
