WEST VALLEY CITY, Utah (ABC4) -- One teen is dead and another is in critical condition after a shooting at a Halloween party in West Valley City Friday night, according to West Valley City Police.

Just before midnight on Oct. 31, West Valley officers responded to reports of a shooting in the area of 2600 West 4000 South. According to police, a fight broke out at a Halloween party and spilled into the street.

During the fight, multiple individuals began shooting at each other before fleeing the scene. Several minutes later, Murray Police contacted West Valley Police with information that a vehicle had crashed near Intermountain Medical Center, and that a 17-year-old boy was found deceased inside the car.
