One man was left dead and another man was shot in the leg after an argument erupted during a Halloween party at about 12:45 a.m. Saturday morning, according to a news posting on the police department's website.
Police responded to reports of gunfire at a 930 Morrison Drive apartment complex. Officers found one man dead in a hallway. Another man with a gunshot wound to his leg was found on the property and was taken to a local hospital. The statement said his injuries that are not considered life-threatening.
The statement says that multiple individuals involved in the argument at the party exchanged gunfire.
