INDIANAPOLIS -- The egregiously short-handed Pacers will apparently get some relief thanks to the NBA's hardship exception for teams with a considerable collection of injuries. Per league sources, they intend to sign forward Jeremiah Robinson-Earl to a 10-day hardship exemption contract which allows them to go over their limit of 15 standard contracts and three two-way deals if they have enough injuries to players expected to miss extended time. ESPN's Shams Charania and Michael Scotto of Hoops Hype had the story first.
