PITTSBURGH —

A 13-year-old girl was taken to the hospital after being stabbed during a fight in Pittsburgh's Allentown on Halloween Friday night.

Pittsburgh police were called to the 700 block of East Warrington Avenue just before 7:30 p.m. following reports of a group of teenagers engaged in a physical altercation. Advertisement

When officials arrived at the scene, they said a teenage girl was found with a stab wound to the abdomen. She was taken to the hospital and last said to be in stable condition.

Officials said a teenage boy was detained after officers found a knife in his possession.

An investigation is now underway.
