HUNTINGDON COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) -- As the season of giving begins, the Huntingdon Borough Police have announced they will be collecting donations starting this month through Dec. 1.
The Huntingdon Police Department is coming together to fill boxes after donations housed in storage units for Huntingdon's Toys for Tots were recently stolen.
The police department will be participating in "Operation: Fill a Cruiser," where a patrol unit will be parked outside of the Borough building to receive any donations on Nov. 28.
According to Huntingdon police, all donations will be delivered to Toys for Tots and should be for children up to 18 years of age. Toys should also be new, unwrapped, and in their original packaging.
