PHILIPSBURG, Pa. (WTAJ) -- Thanksgiving is still a few weeks away, but the Moshannon Valley YMCA isn't waiting to get started planning its "Polar Express" family Christmas event.

The organization will be holding its event Saturday, Dec. 14, from 2 to 6 p.m. at the Mosahnnon Valley YMCA located at 113 N. 14th Street in Phiipsburg.

The event is $20 per child and includes back-to-back showings of the Tom Hanks classic "Polar Express" as well as festive activities, crafts, games and holiday treats. It's open to all families in the community and everyone is welcome to join the fun.

Children will be able to have their pictures taken with Santa as well as write letters to Ol' Saint Nick. Kids will also get a gift bag at the event.

The YMCA said there will be a basket raffle along with a bake
