BRONSON, MI. — Hundreds of kids and about as many adults swarmed Bronson Halloween evening, collecting candy on every street.
The community celebration is one of the largest in the area.
All sorts of costumes, from fairies to comic characters, police to ghouls, were worn by most kids and many adults as they visited homes and businesses.
Downtown was filled with the fire department and businesses filling buckets and bags with treats.
The Bronson Free Masons held the 8th Annual Bronson Trunk or Treat behind the Bronson Library at the corner of S. Matteson and York Streets.
At 6 p.m., the Bronson Theater opened its Spook House for the brave.
Those like Jennal Dixon are regulars. She has filled her yard at 328 E. Chicago with skeletons and Halloween objects since 1995.
