SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) - A small group of protesters gathered outside the Home Depot on Abercorn Street Saturday as part of a nationwide movement honoring a man who was hit by a car and killed in California while fleeing ICE.

Organizers said the demonstration was part of the “Disappeared in America Weekend of Action.” Protesters spoke out against ICE raids at Home Depot locations, including one that led to the death of Carlos Roberto Montoya.

Participants said they are calling on Home Depot and other corporations to stop allowing situations that endanger immigrant workers.
