The Gophers football team will be without its top running back against Michigan State on Saturday.
Darius Taylor is listed as out on Minnesota’s unavailability report for the 2:30 p.m. kickoff at Huntington Bank Stadium. The junior from Detroit pick up an undisclosed injury before the Iowa loss last weekend and played only three snaps against the Hawkeyes.
Minnesota will also be without role-playing receivers Logan Loya and Kenric Lanier against the Spartans. Loya also missed the Iowa game, while Lanier’s absence is new.
On defense, the Gophers will be without defense backs Garrison Monroe and Mike Gerald. They have been dealing with ailments for weeks.
Minnesota’s other key inactives are linebacker Jeff Roberson, defensive tackle Theorin Randle, offensive lineman DJ Shipp and others.
