LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - A 17-year-old was hospitalized after being stabbed in central Lincoln on Saturday.

Lincoln Police officers were called to the area of 20th and O streets on the report of a person stabbed at 1:30 a.m.

According to LPD, officers found a teenager who had been stabbed by a person he knew. The teenager was taken to an area hospital and is considered stable at this time.

No arrests have been made and police said there is no threat to the public at this time.
