SPRINGFIELD — This year’s at-large City Council race features all five sitting councilors, including Sean Curran, a former city councilor and two candidates who have run previously.

Curran is a veteran politician, having served six years on the City Council and as a state representative before that. Over the past two years he has focused a lot of his energy on attracting development and tourism.

Ahead of Tuesday, The Republican reached out to all candidates for the opposed City Council seats to answer a short questionnaire.
