COLUMBUS, Ohio -- Ohio State’s offensive line isn’t having the best first half against Penn State, but Julian Sayin is making that not matter.

That’s what Heisman Trophy quarterbacks do.

When Carson Hinzman misses a block and Sayin is staring at a defensive tackle ready to knock his head off, he subtly moves to the side and either throws the ball away to live another day, or finds an open receiver for an explosive play.

When Austin Siereveld misses a block on Sayin’s blindside in what should’ve been a sack, he simply jukes the defensive end, plants his foot in the ground, and heads upfield to get nine yards on a third-and-5 for a first down. Then he punctuates the drive with a 45-yard touchdown pass to Carnell Tate to give OSU a 17-7 lead.
