LAURENS COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) - Officials are investigating after a body was reportedly found floating in Lake Greenwood.
According to Laurens County Coroner's Office, on Friday coroners were called to Lake Greenwood in Waterloo after two fishermen reported seeing an body floating in the water.
The South Carolina Department of Natural Resources was called to the scene, and DNR officers retrieved the body from the lake.
Coroner's have not yet identified the victim. A forensic autopsy has been scheduled, and the incident remains under investigation by the Laurens County Coroner's Office and SCDNR.
