LAS VEGAS ( FOX5 ) — A jet fuel overflow at Las Vegas Airport early Saturday morning was quickly contained, officials said, with no injuries or flight disruptions reported.
The incident occurred just after 7 a.m. on Saturday. Dispatchers received a call reporting 30 to 100 gallons of jet fuel overflowing at the Las Vegas Airport.
When first responders arrived, they found the fuel overflowing from an above-ground fuel tank in a designated retention basin, officials said.
“Accountability of all employees took place; exposure lines were pulled as a precaution but were not needed,” fire officials said.
In total, 5,000 gallons of fuel were contained in the basin around the tank. Officials said no injuries were reported to civilians or firefighters, and there was no disruption to flights o
