MERIDIAN, Idaho — A Meridian woman was arrested early Saturday morning after allegedly firing multiple shots at an occupied pickup truck in downtown Meridian.
According to the Meridian Police Department (MPD), Chantel McPherson was arrested around 1:40 a.m. after officers on foot patrol said they heard gunshots on the 700 block of North Main Street.
Officers said they responded to the parking lot between Off the Clock Bar and the Frontier Club, where they detained McPherson as she allegedly attempted to leave the scene. Police said witnesses identified her as the shooter.
The department alleges that McPherson fired multiple rounds from a 9mm handgun, striking a pickup truck that two people were in. Further, police added, the shooting followed a fight between the people in the pickup, Mc
