La Salle girls tennis had its latest star at No. 1 singles, a trio of doubles teams that could all be top duos on other programs and a rich history. That’s a combination to keep the Rams’ state championship streak alive and well.
And top-seeded La Salle (16-0) did just that with a 4-1 triumph against Barrington under postcard skies on Saturday, Nov. 1 in Pawtucket. It’s La Salle’s 12 th straight state title and 10 th perfect season over that stretch. The Rams are one of the most dominant fall teams, across all sports, and added to their trophy case with a 17 th girls tennis title overall.
