Residents are encouraged to have their say, with the second year of Chatham-Kent’s multi-year budget process set to begin this week.
With the theme ‘Investing in Today, Empowering Tomorrow,’ the opening night is slated for Wednesday, when the 2026 annual budget update is presented to council.
All budget meetings will be held in-person in council chambers at the civic centre, as well as livestreamed on YourTV CK’s YouTube channel.
Similar to previous years, the two community consultations will be held virtually. However, the overall schedule was adjusted to allow for more feedback.
