South Bruce OPP arrested a 21-year-old Hanover man after discovering the man asleep at the wheel in a live lane.
According to police, on Oct. 26, just before 9 p.m., officers responded to a traffic hazard along Sideroad 30 North, south of Chesley.

A concerned member of the public called the police after discovering a recently damaged vehicle stopped in a live lane, with the driver slouched over behind the wheel.
Police stated that upon arrival, they detected signs of impairment, and the driver was taken into custody and transported for further testing.
The 21-year-old Hanover man was charged with operation while impaired and dangerous driving.
The accused is set to appear at the Walkerton, Ontario, Court of Justice on December 10, 2025, to answer to the charges.
