The Toronto Raptors will have to survive a third game without their starting centre patrolling the paint.

Big man Jakob Poeltl has been listed as out for Sunday’s game against the Memphis Grizzlies as he continues to deal with a back injury, the team announced Saturday.

Additionally, backup guard Jamal Shead has been listed as questionable with an illness.

Poeltl has missed the team’s last two games — a 139-121 loss to the Houston Rockets on Wednesday and a 112-101 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday.

He suffered the injury in the fourth quarter of the Raptors’ loss to the San Antonio Spurs on Monday. He played 24 minutes and went to the locker room early in the fourth before the team announced that he wouldn’t return.
